Saint Patrick’s Day is just around the corner! Last year I made yummy cake pops for my family, but never got around to sharing them. So…here they are!
These cake pops are chocolate inside and the candy coatings are chocolate, peanut butter, mint chocolate and vanilla. If you are wonder how they are made, check out my post all about how to make cake pops easily.
I made sure to decorate all the mint chocolate coated cake pops alike to tell them apart from the chocolate coated ones. It made most sense to give them a pretty green swirl.
The mint chocolate ones tasted so good and reminded me of Thin Mint cookies!
The most festive Saint Patrick’s Day cake pops had to be the green ones of course! The green coating was vanilla as well as the white swirl. The green sprinkles were a hit with the girls, turning their tongues bright green
These light brown ones were coated with peanut butter candy melts. Chocolate cake inside, peanut butter outside = YUM!
When paired with green and dark brown, I could not help but think of Girl Scouts.
I figured out a great way to transport cake pops or serve them too! I found this plastic serving tray at the Dollar Store and it was awesome. Nice to serve and not be worried about getting my tray back.
So pretty and soooo tasty!!
