Hunt for the Best Sewing Machine

Posted on

I have finally decided that it is time to buy a sewing machine. The types and features out there are quite overwhelming, so here is my research and maybe it can help others choose the right machine for them.  For starters, I want to find machine under $600.  My mom swears by Janome, so I am keeping my main focus there.  My top 3 choices are Magnolia 7300, DC2012 and DC5100. They are priced from $399-$599 on Amazon (click on the sewing machine images below to be directed to Amazon if you are looking for reviews or to purchase one yourself!).  I am leaning towards the DC5100, but it is more than I was hoping to spend on my first sewing machine.  Decisions, decisions…..
